After Seeds soaking overnight, a layer of seeds is spread over the base of the trays. During the growing period, the seeds are kept moist, but not saturated. They are supplied with moisture and (sometimes) nutrients, usually via drip or spray irrigation. Holes in the trays facilitate drainage and the waste water is collected in a tank.
The seeds will usually sprout within 24 hours and in 6 to 7 days have produced a 6 to 8 inch high grass mat. After the mat is removed from the tray, it can go into a feed mixer or be hand-fed to livestock.
Growing Tips!
1) Clean the seed and soaked at least for 24 hours.
2) Lay the seed out in trays no deeper than 1/2 inch.
3) The seed should be wet down with water 2-3 times a day and drained well each time, no standing water be left in thee trays.
4) Do fourth step until the grass has reached to 6-8 inches. This will usually take between 6-7 days depending on the temperature in the room and irrigation times.
5) When harvesting, cause it is heavy, roll fodder up or cut it into piece to easily managed. And feed to livestocks.
6) Clean and disinfect trays immediately and clearly after used.
7) Repeat each day! Everyday a tray is taken out, a new tray replace it makeing this a continuous cycle of growing and harvesting.
General Guidelines to Promote Optimal Growth
Water Temperature | 60° F (minimum) to 75° F (maximum) |
pH Level | 6.2 - 6.4 (range) |
Humidity | 40% to 80% (Best in most cases is 60%.) |
Ideal Temperature Range | 63° F to 75° F |
Estimated Capacity: Using a typical diet of 2% of the animal's body weight for fodder, estimated feed capacities for the Fodder System are shown in the table below.
Estimated Feeding Capacity
Animal Body Weight | Daily Feeding Capacity (No. Of Head) |
1,400 lbs. | 7 - 8 |
800 lbs | 14 - 15 |
200 lbs. | 60 - 61 |
Poultry | 2475 - 2500 |

Benefits for Livestock
1. Faster weaning, less stress on mothers and young animals, reaching a digestibility of more than 90%, helping to avoid diseases that cause digestive tract colic.
2. Enhance immunity, reduce the occurrence of diseases, increase the slaughter rate, and reduce the feeding time.
3. Hydroponic pasture is clean and dust-free, effectively reducing the risk of animals suffering from respiratory diseases.
4. Improve fertility, the reproductive efficiency of animals fed hydroponics is increased by 55%.
5. Experimental comparison shows that the body weight of animals eating hydroponic pasture increases by 20%, and the use of concentrated feed can be reduced, and the feed cost per kilogram of body weight is reduced by 18%.
6. Overall nutritional value increased: the protein content in wheat increased from the traditional 12% to 29%, and in oats increased from 11% to 19%
7. Dairy goats and cows have a high milk production rate, and the mutton meat is tender and tastes better.
8. Hydroponic pasture is very rich in nutrients, rich in high-energy protein, vitamins, calcium and other trace elements, which greatly improves the animal pregnancy rate.
(Reduce dependence on imported feed from abroad and reduce ranch storage and storage costs.Regardless of weather conditions, 365 can produce high-quality animal feed. )
